It has struck me that 90% of the photos I've taken this year are of flowers, and I've got a couple of reasons for this.
The first is that they stay still - people don't.
The second is that I've never met a flower that had a bad word to say about anyone. Monet has been quoted as saying "I must always have flowers, always, and always."
He's right, you know.
